The Autel MA600APECT is the MA600 Ape Core ADAS calibration system — front camera (LDW) and radar coverage including the MaxiSYS MS909S2 tablet — built for body shops that want to capture 70–80% of the calibrations they see every day without the cost of a full All Systems package.

Front camera and radar are the two most common ADAS calibration types in a modern body shop. The MA600APECT covers both, letting shops handle the high-volume work in-house and sublet edge cases until the business case for All Systems is clear.

This package includes the MA600 frame, a complete LDW target set, and the MaxiSYS MS909S2 tablet, the ACC Reflector Mirror (CSC0602-01), Continental Radar Calibration Plate (CSC0602-02), Doppler Radar Calibration Box (CSC0605-01), and Corner Reflector with Stand (CSC0802-01).

Why the MA600APECT Makes Sense for Your Shop

Most body shops that are adding ADAS or expanding calibration don't need All Systems on day one. The Ape Core gets you into the most profitable, highest-volume calibrations immediately — front camera on almost every windshield job, radar on most front-end repairs. Shops that want to capture this work without committing to the All Systems price tag get a real entry point here.

When AVM (360-view), LIDAR, Night Vision, and specialty calibrations start appearing regularly on your tickets, the All Systems upgrade path exists. That coverage is meaningfully broader and priced accordingly — it is a significant step up, not a minor add-on.

Key Features and Benefits

  • Fully Mobile Platform. The MA600 travels to the vehicle. It sets up in any bay or on-site location without a fixed footprint.
  • Ready to Calibrate Out of the Box. The MS909S2 tablet and ADAS software are included. No separate tablet purchase needed.
  • Front Camera and Radar Coverage. Covers LDW and radar (ACC / front radar) — the two most common ADAS calibration types in body shop and mobile workflows.
  • 70–80% of Body Shop Work. The Ape Core handles the high-volume calibrations that drive most revenue for collision and glass repair shops. Sublet the rest until the volume is there.
  • Clear Upgrade Path. The MA600 All Systems package covers AVM, LIDAR, Night Vision, and more — but that upgrade is a significantly larger investment than the Ape Core.

Who Should Buy the MA600APECT

  • Mobile Calibration Operators. A complete out-of-the-box mobile calibration setup for front camera and radar work. The MA600 travels; the MS909S2 runs the jobs.
  • Body Shops Adding Mobile ADAS. Shops that want to bring calibration in-house on a portable platform, starting with the most common calibration types.
  • Shops Not Ready for All Systems. If AVM, LIDAR, and Night Vision aren't frequent on your tickets yet, the MA600APECT covers what is. All Systems is available when the ticket mix gets there — at a higher price.

Comparing MA600 Packages

There are three tiers on the MA600 platform:

  • MA60020T — Front camera (LDW) only. Entry-level.
  • MA600APECT Ape Core — Front camera + radar. Covers 70–80% of body shop work.
  • MAS20T — All Systems. Adds AVM / 360-view, LIDAR, Night Vision, Blind Spot Detection, and Rear Collision Warning on top of LDW and radar.

Important: If you think your shop will eventually want AVM (360-view cameras), LIDAR, or Night Vision calibration capability, buy All Systems now. Purchasing the Ape Core and then upgrading to All Systems later will cost you more in total than going straight to All Systems from the start. The Ape Core is built for shops that genuinely do not need those systems — collision and glass shops where front camera and radar is the overwhelming majority of their work. If there is a real chance you will want AVM or specialty calibrations within the next year or two, the MAS20T is the better investment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the MA600APECT include a tablet?

Yes. The MA600APECT includes the MaxiSYS MS909S2 tablet and ADAS software. No separate tablet purchase is needed. For the frame-only version, see the MA600APEC.

What calibrations does the MA600 Ape Core cover?

Front camera (LDW) and radar — Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and front radar. These are the most common calibration types in body shop and mobile workflows.

What does Ape Core not cover?

AVM (Around View Monitoring / 360-view), LIDAR, Night Vision, and Rear Collision Warning are not included. Those are part of the All Systems package, which is priced significantly higher.

Can I upgrade from Ape Core to All Systems later?

You can, but it will cost more than buying All Systems upfront. The Ape Core targets AVM, LIDAR, and Night Vision are sold separately and their combined price, added to what you paid for the Ape Core, will exceed the price of the MAS20T directly. If you think your shop will need those capabilities within the next year or two, start with All Systems now.
