Why OEM statements matter
Manufacturers specify when ADAS sensors must be calibrated, and many require calibration after windshield replacement, bumper or grille removal, alignment, or sensor replacement, even when no warning light is on. Following the OEM requirement protects the driver, supports insurance documentation, and reduces liability for the shop.
Need the equipment to perform these calibrations?
Ape Auto Tools helps shops choose the right ADAS calibration system for their vehicle mix, space, and volume, with US-based support after the sale.
Documents are published by and remain the property of their respective vehicle manufacturers. They are provided for reference only. Always follow the current OEM service information and workshop manual procedures for the specific vehicle.
